As a child, I hated eating, but every weekend, we would go to my grandparent’s house where my grandfather made us ten dish dinners. There would always be the best desserts like homemade pineapple buns, almond cookies, fresh warm bread, or chilled sweet soups. I was usually the guinea pig. When they moved away to the States, I realized just how much I missed his food. Perhaps that was the beginning of my journey.
